You must install .NET framework before running the program. |

| I have a question about this program. Since you don't enter an IP address in the client, how does it know where to connect to? Is the Webcam program registering the ip on a lookup site, then the client goes to the lookup site and matches username and password to get the ip? I'm just a little freaked out about other people viewing the webcam as well. Any ideas? |

| Yes I did. I ran the server software, it asked for a username and pass, then let me configure some webcam settings, then the image popped on on the computer. Then I installed the Client software on my smartphone. When I ran that, I entered the same username and password. After that clicking on Get image or loop, then retrieves a screen shot of the webcam. I have an Audiovox 5600. I wouldn't worry bout it not running too much, I don't use it at all cause I don't think it's secure at all. Since you don't have to enter in an ip address, it must be using a site to lookup ipaddress based on username and password. |

| One last thing Bill, You have to open up the port on your firewall and foward it to the machine running the webcam. If I don't do that, or that server software is not running, I get the same error message that you get. |

thanks mate!!
I thought it was enough to unblock it from the windows firewall. I opened the port from my modem/router settings and now it works great!! |
