This is second time Samsuung i730 appears on the website of Verizon Wireless, previously it was in a press release but this time also specifications and some photos are available!

are you sure that you mean i730 and not i750?
they both look very similar and i750 has for sure Wi-Fi -
so maybe you have just confused the models...? |

| This phone is going to be so insane with the EvDO. WiFi isnt even needed... who wants to deal with finding, signing in, paying for, and then losing WiFi hotspots? I have the Novatel v620 card and tons of my business associates are picking it up too because it is broadband speed almost anywhere you go (most major cities will have the broadband speeds by year end, but until then, those that do not still have the slower NationalAccess). When the i730 comes out, we will be able to have the same go-anywhere service on our cellphones too - not just our laptops! |

We want WiFi to use a SIP based softphone on it through our corporate LAN to a Cisco based VOIP phone system.
VOIP over EVDO has some latency issues from what I've heard... throw a VPN connection in the mix and im not sure how well it would work. Gonna try it though  |
