Well I'd buy a phone based on if it does the job. There's a wealth of applications out there and none require WM5 or utilise its features.

It all depends how long you intend to keep the phone.

I repeat msmobiles.com is the anti microsoft web site and just pretend to love MS..I repeat
Do not believe this site too much. this site always intended to show the disadvantage of MS
All mobile softwares, Linux, Symbian never been upgraded, not just MS...
All MS sponsors, please please please... Don’t be stupid, do not pay money to this site, do not pay your money to the one who wants to kill you.
msmobiles.com is a propagenda of other mobile phones manufactures.

Suwat,

I'm not sure where you're getting that idea from. This guy praises ms when it deserves praise and criticizes it when it deserves criticizism. He's not just a fanboy that talks up a product because he can and thats why I like this site. This also may be the first somewhat negative thing he's said about I-mate.

I-mate has said they will likely not be upgrading existing devices to 5.0. Here is a quote from an e-mail i got from their support when I asked about it "We have made an assessment of our current devices and it is unlikely that current products will run Windows Mobile 5.0."

He gave his advice not to buy this phone because 5.0 is going to be worth the wait. How can saying wait 3 months to buy a PPC phone with the new MS mobile os be interpreted as an anti MS statement? He's still saying buy MS products, just not this one, unless you like your products outdated and unupgradeable in 3 months.

Suwat, it's people like you that make people stop comming to this site. I like comming here to find out what's going on with MS mobile tech and hearing someone's opinion.
