Motorola RAZR V3 has been a big success and a major breakthrough for Motorola, that previously was doing some solid mobile phones, but they lacked style. With RAZR RV3 it all changed and many people consider it to b...

Sorry, I've been trying not to comment but this time I just had to.

...the new Microsoft smartphone from Motorola! (yes, it is smartphone not Pocket PC as some other news sourcees have been reporting)

when you say OTHER NEWS SOURCEES you mean MSMOBILES... don't you?

Does this ring a bell 'Meet Motorola Franklin - the ultra-stylish Pocket PC phone inspired by ultra-successful RAZR mobile phone'

Here's the URL if you forgot : http://msmobiles.com/news.php/3972.html

Don't fortget that at http://msmobiles.com/f/viewtopic.php?t=9168 msmobiles.com_wiseacre wrote : It is Pocket PC. It looks like Smartphone based because it is powered by Windows Mobile 5.0 for Pocket PC, that has similar looks like Smartphone (including 2 soft keys at the bottom of the screen).

And even when 'wiseacre' came up with this stunning idea: On the other hand I must admit that I am not sure anymore: Pocket PC or Smartphone. In fact this screenshot looks more like smartphone, but this is just a mock-up (made in a computer, not real photo), therefore we can't be cerain for sure.

He still didn't find a way to admit MSMOBILES WAS WRONG.

Can we just clarify, is msmobiles an amautre site? Or are we ment to belive what we read here?

Smile yes, msmobiles.com was wrong with this too, but apart from msmobiles.com several other websites were too assuming that it will be Pocket PC phone, not smartphone.

Clearly Motorola wanted to have very small device and then touchscreen is not welcome so no Pocket PC...

I apologize for any misinformation but some handheld websites that are 5-6 years old were claiming that it will be Pocket PC, so sometime it is difficult to find out what it is true, particularly if there was no official information then...
