The release of Orange SPV M5000 (HTC Universal branded by Orange) must be imminent because it is already on the website of Orange UK - it may be that it will be released already in September 2005, and not in October...

Exactly! This is the intention of Microsoft and HTC: for HTC Universal to be the first Windows Mobile 5 device on market. However it is not clear whether it will be Orange or maybe T-Mobile who will be the first actually selling this unit to customers... no matter what operator or distributor will start actually selling it, the HTC Universall will be indeed the first Windows Mobile 5 device on market! |

I'd like to notice that (maybe) the First WM5.0 device will be Qtek 9100 (Wizard)... So it's not clear which one will be the first
