Skype do not work properly on Qtek 9100, we've tested it on the Wizard device (rather early engineering sample) pictured here like i-Mate K-JAM. We've tested SIP based solutions like FWD using SJPhone, on Wizard it works with the same Quality as Skype on Desktop PC.

Is there hope that release (mature) versions will have better firmware and run Skype properly? It's really a killer-app for every decent PocketPC Phone out there and now with the EDGE support it would have been an obvious choice.

Can we hope for a miracle?! Confused
