If anybody had any doubts that Windows Mobile is superior to Symbian, then T-Mobile MDA Pro Pocket PC phone will remove any such doubts:
T-Mobile MDA Pro is a "HTC Universal" branded by T-Mobile and it will...

Yes, O2 will 100% release it soon - as O2 XDA Exec.
The only question is what tariffs/plans will be offered for this device. I personally hope for flat rate UMTS... |

| I'm not so sure. It says "Vermarkt". That means it will be markedet on Sep. 1. We all know that it is not the same as "On the marked" |

See here:
http://dict.leo.org/se?lp=ende&p=/Ue0E.&search=vermarkten
... where you can see "vermakten" (i.e. regular form of "vermarkt") means: "to bring to market".
Of course there was web page of T-Mobile MDA Pro available already previously - so if you think that "vermarkt" means "being marketed" - then well, it already previously was marketed...
Anyway: I will be at IFA Berlin trade show that starts this week and I will ask T-Mobile personally... |

Certain retailer from UK and now also T-Mobile Germany claim that it is September, not October, so maybe after all it is not October 1st... |

This is no doubt a top device.
I've never seen something near it from the times of MPx. Anyway, the price is still untouchable if you ask me, at least for the device without a carrier plan.
The question is: will there be a program for video calling for the retail devices? IIRC there was an article here in msmobiles.com which said that possibility depended on a program provided by each carrier independently. _________________ "Scientia Est Potestas." |

price bad? No! 750 Euro is a very good and low price for such a device. See here:
http://www.expansys.de/product.asp?code=119353
... where you can see that i-mate JASJAR (also HTC Universal like T-Mobile MDA Pro) costs over 950 Euro! 200 Euro more. 750 Euro for such device - with UMTS and VGA display - is super low!
Video calling program: I think it is made by HTC itself and not included in Windows Mobile. |
