FM Radio in Asia is still the must-have feature in mobile phone today. Now, particularly in Thailand, many ask for FM tuner in every mobile phone. With built-In FM radis, Atom will be successful in Asia as XDA Mini which has been the most successful PDA Phone, even to PDA, in the history.

So this rather throws into question the veracity of your "MSMOBILES EXCLUSIVE" showing the full chart of upcoming HTC models. It clearly refers to the O2 XDA Atom as being the HTC Athena.

Are you now willing to admit that you once again failed to adequately research and verify the details of a story before posting it online, and can you now clarify just how accurate this chart actually is in representing future, upcoming models?

I agree with your doubts. Today soon I will post another news item that will be presenting the updated roadmap.

HTC Athena is coming though but similarity in specifications with Xda Atom was reason of the confusion.

I didn't say he made it. However, it wasn't posted as a rumour - it was posted as an 'exclusive', so one would have expected msmobiles to make some effort to check the veracity of the information before putting it online.

However, it looks like msmobiles just got way too excited that they found something that they couldn't find on another news site, and in all the excitement they forgot to do their homework and actually check whether the information was true or not.

Still, many of us have come to expect such low standards from this site.

oh, thank you for spanking me!

however please note that some of this information totally cannot be checked because it refers to unannounced products.

I'm really confused now.

First, it's an HTC, then it's not an HTC, then it's an HTC again, now it's not an HTC...

Do you actually have a press release or a source of this news post that shows it's not by HTC and by Quanta? Does Quanta have a website showing the product and/or a press release of the Atom?

Can we get some direct contact with an HTC rep or a Quanta rep who can confirm or deny this product?

That much is perfectly obvious, and I can't dispute that. However, perhaps you shouldn't be quite so keen to publish unsubstantiated information, especially when you're doing so as an "exclusive", as it makes you look extremely stupid.

Additionally, you're quite happy to post such rumours on your website, yet you're the first one to condemn other websites that do so with the most poisonous and vicious language. Perhaps you should rectify the faults on your own site before pointing the finger at others.

It is quite amusing how many of you have said something like "many of us [us? speak for urself pal] have come to expect such low standards from this site", yet "many of you" visit this site on a regular basis craving for the new and juicy info! Laughing

Quite right - it's the same morbid fascination that causes people to slow down when they pass a car crash.
