But it shows there's very little of the product actually complete if they have to show a rending.
The specs are better than usual, 2 megapixel camera is long overdue. Of course it might be 6 months until its out and the competition will be on 3 megapixel or something. |

built-in FM Radio combined with Wi-Fi are the main selling points of this phone, not n-megapixel camera.
anyway, according to my information HTC Prophet will be on sale in first quarter of 2006, but of course no one can be certain of exact release date... |

I haven't seen any (not just Windows Mobile) phone with DAB yet. DAB is not popular in USA and Asia, so I see little chances for it to be available in phones - any phones, not just Windows Mobile... |

| If HTC can put GPS in the Galaxy PDA then they are missing a trick by not puttiing it in their pda/phones. Much bigger killer app than FM radio. |

HTC can't release their own Pocket PC phone with GPS because then HTC would have to stop manufacturing HP iPAQ phones with GPS - HP would stop ordering them. HTC and HP have a deal about it. |

An FM tuner is indeed very popular for certain markets and user groups. DAB would be a great addition. But I believe these "digital broadcast technologies" will be first offered by the Symbian camp as with DVB-H. _________________ "Scientia Est Potestas." |

FM radio is no killer app - nokia have been putting them in their phones for ages.
I doubt people will single this phone for the the 'great' FM radio feature but rather the small form factor and wifi. |

Some users don't like slide out keyboard - because it adds additional vulnerability to the construction and because they don't use it too often. This phone is not targeting users who need to use qwerty keyboard but those who like to use it as mobile media player and a phone. |
