Philips MP4Net - a division of the big Philips corporation has developed this player for Microsoft smartphone:
Platform4 Player provides users with efficient, high performance playback 3GPP compliant audio video content. Offering video resolutions from SQCIF up to full screen, it also includes a range of image improvement functions, image scaling up to full screen and lip synch.
Some features of the program:
- Can play all 3GPP compliant audio video streams
- Video display in full screen mode
- Tight audio video synchronization
What does it mean "3GPP compliant" ? It means, shortly speaking, that this player will be able to play video recordings from 3G cell phones and will be 3G compatible.
