Stamp PC PHONE presented in Hong Kong August 12, 2003 [General] | By anonymous 1. The 19th International Computer Expo opened in Hong Kong (China) Thursday last week. It is not a big show - just 165 companies exhibited there (compared to 8000 exhibitors at CeBIT in Hannover/Germany/E.U.). One interesting gadget presented there was a cell phone powered by Windows CE .NET:  (original picture of the phone that comes from the web site MobilMania.cz) It is not a first cell phone powered by Windows CE .NET in the world - AlphaCell (www.alphacell.com) - announced such phones long time ago, but the Stamp PC PHONE is the first phone with this operating system (and without Smarpthone or Pocket PC layers of applications), that was presented in a form of an actual device, not just an "image on paper".
