T-Mobile MDA - Pocket PC phone from T-Mobile Germany - celebrates first birthday and announces new model with built-in camera : - Functionalities are being continuosly extended - New version of the device with built-in camera is being prepared One year after introduction to the market one is for sure: T-Mobile MDA (Mobile Digital Assistant) is as one of the best sold devices in its class and many people cannot imagine working without it. MDA, thanks to Internet access with GPRS, makes it possible to read e-mails and browse Internet whenever wherever. Each MDA user can purchase T-Mobile NaviGate CarKit and thus add a very cost effective navigation solution to his/her car! Here comes interesting stuff: yet before the end of year 2003 T-Mobile will introduce new T-Mobile MDA phone that will offer: faster processor, more memory and better display quality. It will be a tri-band phone, with display of size 240*320 pixels and 64000 colors and it will feature a built-in camera of resolution 640x480 pixels (so called "VGA resolution"). The built-in camera will have both profesional applications (for example: so that people at construction place can send pictures to the office) and entertainment applications (sending postcards through MMS). The new MDA will have speaker phone and will be a very comfortable cell phone.
