Mobius USA 2003 conference finished
October 10, 2003 [General] | By anonymous 1.
UPDATED: now ROI for Microsoft added (ROI = Return On Investment).
Mobius invite-only conference is a public relations gig,
... conceived to spread positive knowledge about new Microsoft products, here specifically about Windows Mobile products like Pocket PC and Smartphone. Participants are mostly bloggers writing about PDAs or cell phones and also (sometimes) some small number of professional journalists - shortly speaking: editors or webmasters of websites about these topics.
Selection of participants of this conference is not based on some objective criteria, but on personal preferences and handpicking of some Microsoft employees (we know their names, but we donīt reveal them). To put some objectivity into this context we present below also Alexa ranking of each web site (the smaller the Alexa ranking value, the more popular given web site is; read more about Alexa traffic ranking here). Please note: "ROI for Microsoft" means "Return On Invesment" in paying for given participantīs journey, stay attractions, hotel and a bag of gifts.
