Launch of Motorola MPx200 in Germany delayed due to "technical problems"

Motorola´s cell phone powered by Microsoft´s operating system (MPx200) will not come to German market as soon as it was planned.
The distributor of the MPx200 phone for Germany - the company "debitel" - said that this delay is caused by "technical problems" - problems that prohibited deliveries of bigger numbers of this phone. Motorola does not agree with "debitel" and is denying it. However in coming weeks "debitel" expects to get more deliveries of this phone. Customers can however already now preorder the Motorola MPx200 at the "debitel" - even if it is not avaiable yet. Originally Motorola was planning to start selling this phone in the middle of October 2003.
