Microsoft smartphone sighted in the Matrix November 17, 2003 [MS Smartphone] | By anonymous 1. Have you ever seen Microsoft smartphone in the Matrix? We have seen: 
At the beginning Neo (played by Steve Ballmer, CEO of Microsoft) had to decide which pill to take from Morpheus (played by Bill Gates, Chief Architect of Microsoft): 
"Take the Big Blue pill and this story ends," said Morpheus to Neo "And armies of consultants are running around the IT world. Take the red pill and you stay in Wonderland." Blue pill was big and marked by name of IBM and symbol of Linux, the red pill was small and marked by a Microsoft Windows logo. Neo took the red pill of course! Then Neo (to the right) and Morpheus (to the left) had some adventures in the Matrix: 
... but most interestingly Microsoft smartphone (in Motorola MPx200 incarnation) was visible there too: 
Steve Ballmer and Bill Gates starring in the Matrix? Are we joking with you? No! In fact such video - Matrix spoof - was shown by Microsoft (!) at the beginning of the Comdex 2003 trade show!
