Third Pocket PC phone with cell phone keypad announced: Asus MyPal A8100 November 18, 2003 [Pocket PC phone] | By anonymous 1. It looks like Asus has dumped Microsoft Smartphone (the Asus AGP-600 smartphone has not been sighted anywhere lately), and is going instead for a Pocket PC phone:
On Picture above you can see Asus MyPal A8100 phone powered by Windows Mobile 2003 for Pocket PC Phone Edition. After phones from Lenovo (a brand of Legend corporation; already on the market) and from LG (only announced, not yet released), Asus A8100 will be the third Pocket PC phone with integrated keypad. Therefore it appears that Pocket PC phones will constitute strong competition not only to SonyEricsson phones (like SonyEricsson P800 or SonyEricsson P900) but also to Microsoft-own smartphones. No more details are known about this phone yet, but one can notice that it will be equipped with built-in Bluetooth. Source: PDA france.
