Philippine operator SMART offers upgrade to the new ROM version 1.7.0.13 November 22, 2003 [MS Smartphone] | By anonymous 1. This ROM upgrade is destined for "HTC Tanager" branded as "Smart Amazing Phone" and being sold by SMART operator in Philippines. Of course you can try to apply it to another HTC Tanager (like Orange SPV E100 for example), but you do it at your own risk and we suggest you not to do it (anyway ROM updates with MSN messenger fixes for other "HTC Tanager" phones are coming soon from Orange and from PPCW.Net)!!! The main advantage of this upgrade is, that it fixes MSN messenger breakdown - and MSN Messenger can be used again (MSN messenger protocols changed on October 15, and since then it was not working).
