Another review of Orange SPV E200 December 08, 2003 [MS Smartphone] | By anonymous 1. In many respects the Orange SPV E200:
... is a fantastic cellphone - it has new OS with built-in .NET, built-in Bluetooth and built-in camera. Our favorite feature of this phone: when connected through USB to PC it is charging itself even without the need to use separate power supply!!! While it is now available only from European operator "Orange", it does not mean that if you live in USA you cannot get it! Corey McLaughlin from USA writes: Well today I received a SPV-E200 in the mail. I have been waiting for this device ever since I first read about it. This is the same hardware design as the HTC Voyager which is branded under some of these other names; Qtek 8080, and iMate Smart Phone 2. Currently this phone is released for sell all over Europe via Orange. I obtain my phone by purchasing it through Orange developers program. The major difference I have seen between SmartPhone OS 2002 and Windows Mobile for SmartPhone 2003 is the speed improvement Microsoft has made. All of the owners of SmartPhones with the 2002 OS can look forward to seeing a speed improvement when and if there is an upgrade made available. Also just like the MPx-200 the battery does not last as long as Smart Phones offered by Nokia or SonyEricsson. I know some people have blamed Microsoft’s OS for this however, I think it has more to do with the manufacturer of these phones. Related links:
