MoDaCo starts selling HTC Himalaya (aka XDA II) - they will be selling HTC Voyager too - delivery directly from USA December 08, 2003 [Pocket PC phone] | By anonymous 1. The biggest Microsoft smartphone community site - MoDaCo - announced today, that they will be now selling Microsoft powered cell phones. At this moment the latest generation of Pocket PC phone is available and soon (yet in December 2003) they will be also selling latest generation of Microsoft Smartphone. They offer prices lower than competition and delivery directly from USA - what may be crucial for US customers, who usually need to pay customs duty to get goods delivered from overseas.
Some quote from their current offering: In advance of arrival of HTC Voyager stocks very soon, we can now confirm that we are able to offer the iMate Phone Edition (the HTC Himalaya, equivalent to the O2 XDA2), with immediate availability to ship worldwide, for an unbeatable $795. This is $200 less than the RRP, and $100 less than the Phones4Devs published price, and is fully unlocked, with the full 128MB RAM (not the 64MB found in some Himalaya variants!)
