The web page of Motorola MPx200 at Amazon USA is here - you can get there more info about this phone or get it FOR FREE with service plan from AT&T Wireless - if you are located in USA. Some general information about this phone follows. * * * * * The Motorola MPx200 Smartphone is the first (in the USA) Smartphone based on the expandable Microsoft Windows Mobile 2002 OS, which is designed as a mobile companion to the ubiquitous Microsoft Office application suite. Intended for business users with tri-band GSM (900/1800/1900), the MPX200 Smartphone features a single-chip Texas Instruments OMAP710 ARM processor (with GPRS radio), 32MB of RAM, 32MB of ROM, and a SD/MMC expansion slot. Check important functions on the external screen without opening the phone. All this is set up to run the usual Smartphone 2002 applications, including Pocket versions of Internet Explorer, Word, Outlook, MSN Messenger with predictive text, and Windows Media Player. So, you can use your MPX200 to view and edit Microsoft Word attachments, take meeting minutes, record business notes, draft letters, and more. And, like a PC windows application, you can just click on a URL to launch the Web browser, and click on an e-mail to reply via e-mail. Click on a phone number, and the MPX200 dials it for you. The Windows Mobile-based Smartphone environment also adheres to SSL, WTLS and PPTP security standards, so online transactions and payments can be handled without worry. While there is no built-in camera (an attachment can be purchased separately) the MPX200 can play WMA and MP3 files and video, and it can store up to 1GB worth of media on an SD card. Downloaded music can be played in the background while other applications are running.
