Rumor: HP IPAQ 6000 - the holy grail of wireless handhelds - GSM/GPRS + Wi-Fi + Bluetooth + Pocket PC - coming soon? December 15, 2003 [Pocket PC phone] | By anonymous 1. At first glance it looks like typical "pre-order trick", i.e. practice of some online shops, that are placing non-existing products. They do it in order to hook customers to pre-orders, so that later on, when such product really comes out (or similar one), then these shops can track back customers, who are interested to convince them to buy it from them, although in reality some other shops, that donīt use "pre-order trick" may have the same item much cheaper... 
(the picture of the rumored HP IPAQ 6000 is the picture of "WANDA" - a prototype created by TI; to more about WANDA click here or here) This iPAQ would have a 3.5 inch transflective display with 65000 colours, an integrated VGA camera, SDIO slot, a removable 1850mAH Lithium Ion battery, 64MB RAM/64MB ROM, Bluetooth (v 1.1}, WLAN 802.11b, and Quad-band GSM/GPRS (class 10} built-in. This iPAQ will apparently be roughly the same size of the H2200 series and more specifically, is slated for release in March 2004. Comment: by now only Samsung i700 and HTC Himalaya (branded as XDA II, MDA II, etc) have ability, as the only cell phones, to use GSM/GPRS, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi in one device, but unfortunately the Wi-Fi there must be added through SDIO Wi-Fi cards. This phone has chances to become the first cell phone on the market, that has all 3 connectivity features built-in.
