3 new Microsoft smartphones from Motorola coming in 2004 : Motorola MPx100, Motorola MPx220 and Motorola MPx300 December 16, 2003 [MS Smartphone] | By anonymous 1. Previously we have found information that Motorola MPx220 is for real (click here to read it), but now yet more information about upcoming Motorola cellphones powered by Microsoft smartphone software has been revealed: 
Compal Communications will manufacture the MPx100. Chi Mei Communication Systems (CMCS), the current supplier of the MPx200, will make the MPx220, featuring Bluetooth support and a built-in camera. Compal Electronics will handle production of the MPx300 As you can see above all of them will be manufactured in Taiwan, where also HTC - current biggest manufacturer of Microsoft smartphones is located. Considering that MiTAC and 5 other Microsoft smartphone manufacturers are also located in Taiwan, only Samsung being from Korea, we can asssume that over 90% of Microsoft smartphones will be produced in Taiwan.
