Number of smartphone-dedicated websites increases lately significantly - pioneer times are over!

While we started msmobiles.com already in October 2002, many publishing companies and webmasters are discovering smartphones scarcely at the end of 2003 - just now. We would like however to call your attention to the fact that many of these new sites are writing about all possible smartphones, very often neglecting the ones powered by Microsoft software!
Symptomatically a huge online publisher Jupitermedia, owner of internet.com, jumps on the bandwagon and launches
SmartphoneToday.com - website about all types of Smartphones, not only from Microsoft. This new website is just one of many in Jupitermediaīs PDAStreet.com publications.

As you can see above, smart phones - meaning: cell phones with PDA functions - are no longer just a niche market and are slowly becoming the leading mobile device - soon to overtake PDAs in number of units sold. Pioneer times are over and now we have ahead of us a future, when market share of smart phones in total market share will be increasing dramatically over next few years... both PDAs (in mid-term) and cellphones (in long-term) will be marginalized and the world domination of smart phones is approaching!
