Orange M1000 Pocket PC phone goes on sale in Denmark (EU) soon December 25, 2003 [Pocket PC phone] | By anonymous 1. Orange M1000 - the Pocket PC phone formerly known as Orange SPV2020 (Orange changed name) - will start selling soon in Denmark. It would be the first Pocket PC phone to be sold by Orange in any country. While certain operators like T-Mobile and O2 are selling only Pocket PC phones at this moment, Orange is going anothe route: first MS Smartphones and then Pocket PC phones... as you can see on the following picture the Orange M100 looks the same as O2 XDA II: 
... what is not strange because it is the same model - "HTC Himalaya" - but branded by Orange. The "M1000" (http://orange.dk/nyspv/omspv2020) will go on sale really soon in Denmark... for the price of 4299 DKR (577 Euro) at "ElGiganten.dk" (click here to see it in the offering of this shop - in a PDF brochure). Normal asking price is expected to be 4999 DKR (671 Euro) on Orange´s Danish website. "VIP" prices for M1000 are still unknown. Credit: Alex from Denmark.
