Orange Media Player for Orange SPV E200 now available in Orange networks through Orange Update December 26, 2003 [MS Smartphone] | By anonymous 1. Many people are criticizing Orange (a European carrier) for releasing ROM updates too late and for not addressing some problems with Microsoft smartphones, that they sell. However we must admit that Orange indeed offers some added value to its customers by providing several Orange-exlcusive goodies. One example of these goodies is an excellent Orange home screen plugin for E200 (click here to learn how to customize it), and another such example is "Orange Backup" program (wireless backup & restore of contacts, messages, etc). Orange offers also "Orange Update" program that, when started, can check for new updates and new add-on programs for your Microsoft smartphone. One of such add one programs - free goodies exclusive to Orange customers - is Orange Media Player - a program for Orange SPV cell phones, that is used mainly for watching of video streaming (but it can also play files from the SD storage card):

Please note: the "Orange Media Player" is in reality a player developed by Emblaze corporation and branded by Orange. This player offers more video CODECs than the one from Microsoft (Windows Media Player) and is particularly suited for watching of video streaming wirelessly.
