ATTWS losing customers to T-Mobile; SmartPhones getting returned due to poor service at ATTWS December 28, 2003 [MS Smartphone] | By anonymous 1. Unfortunately at this moment only AT&T Wireless and Verizon are selling Microsoft smartphones in USA. So if a customer returns MS Smartphone at AT&T Wireless because of getting angry at this carrier, and moves to T-Mobile, then he/she also parts with MS Smartphone: Misha first called AT&T Wireless to activate the SmartPhone on Nov. 3. "I have called the AT&T (Wireless) call center about 10 times and visited a store twice in the last three weeks," said Misha, who runs a software consulting firm in San Jose, Calif. "I have not been able to speak to a customer-service representative at a time when the systems are up." After three weeks of calling, Misha has given up and decided to return the phone and instead keep his service from T-Mobile, a unit of Deutsche Telekom AG (DT). But, as of Monday afternoon, AT&T Wireless couldnīt access his account to process his return order. To read the article from which quotes above come from click here.
