SP Task Manager from Binarys now supports also Smartphone 2003 January 06, 2004 [MS Smartphone] | By anonymous 1. new version 2.0b1 of SP Task Manager is now available. It adds Smartphone 2003 support, as well as some improvements in the user interface. 
SP Task Manager and SmartExplorer from Binarys are a must-have free applications for each owner of Microsoft Smartphone. They both are freeware, although from time to time registration dialog appears - so you can support the developer by buying registration, or just click "not yet" to continue using it. This registration dialog appears only at the startup of the application and is not annoying so these applications truly are free. While SmartExplorer - designed initially for Smartphone 2002, works quite well also in Smartphone 2003, the SP Task Manager had serious problems in the new operating system.. this new release should resolve all those problems in phones powered Smartphone 2003 (like Orange SPV E200 or Qtek 8080). Important notice to all MS Smartphone users: please make it a habit to stop applications that run in background (when not needed), because otherwise cellphone battery life will be much shorter. This SP Task Manager can help you in this - it has even a special "SP TM Free Mem" shortcut, that calls the task manager in this way that it cleans whole memory for you automatically! Regarding the SmartExplorer the developer writes: Smart Explorer will add bluetooth support to file transfer. Donīt hesitate to contact us for any additional information, either by using the comment form or by sending an email to support@binarys.com. ... so if you need file transfer over Bluetooth in your Smartphone equipped with Bluetooth just drop a supportive email to the developer!
