Hardware review: Motorola MPx200 January 28, 2004 [MS Smartphone] | By anonymous 1. Microsoft has given away for free several Motorola MPx200 smartphones to some online publications that cover multiple mobile platforms, like for example Geek.com or InfoSyncWorld. In the review made by the second one the Motorola MPx200 scores however poorly: just 5.6 out of 10.... Motorola have crafted a very solid, quite attractive and fairly usable handset in the MPx200, which is nice. Specifically, the clamshell form-factor is neat, and the external speaker is exceptional. However, it simply cannot compete with recent offerings from rivals: there´s no Bluetooth, no camera, no SDIO and an old version of the Smartphone platform. In the light of these glaring specification issues, the MPx200 is nothing more than mediocre. What´s positive: Looks great; solid and dependable What´s negative: No camera or Bluetooth; Smartphone 2002; quite thick; mediocre keys To read the review click here. The review itself however is just of mediocre quality and contains no original photos of the phone, but just some pictures stolen from the web site of the vendor.
