MVPs keep bashing competition of Microsoft (Linux, Symbian) and cajoling users to get Microsoft products January 28, 2004 [General] | By anonymous 1. Apparently Microsoft MVPs not only are helping users of Microsoft products, but are also officially bashing Microsoft´s competition: Robert Levy says that Windows Mobile from Microsoft is better than Linux, because operators will earn less money with Linux (and thus forgets one important factor: users don´t like to part with their money very much): Linux is proclaiming "Pick me! I´ll decrease your costs!" while Microsoft is getting right to the heart of the matter by boasting "Pick me! I´ll increase your revenue." One offers to cut the cost of each device by a few dollars. The other offers to increase the amount of money customers pay to their carrier each month by a few dollars. This doesn´t sound like a very difficult decision to me. Arne Hess to justify Bluetooth problems in Microsoft powered cell phones takes on Symbian powered SonyEricsson P900 and talks about widespread problem affecting the latest Symbian UIQ handheld from Sony Ericsson, the P900. The issue concerns the implementation of the Bluetooth wireless technology, which is ironically usually the strongpoint of many Sony Ericsson phones [...] not only the HTC Voyager and Himalaya (not to say my Sony Notebook) isn´t bug free at all but also other smart phones like The P900. While we try at msmobiles.com to concentrate on underlining the good sides of Microsoft powered cellphones, rather than bringing down Microsoft´s competition unfairly, it looks like some MVPs cannot help but to attack Microsoft´s competition blatantly...
