Windows CE based M5 smartphone to be released tomorrow in Israel

Emblaze mobile´s M5 will be finally launched after endless delays tomorrow by ORANGE Israel, the device will be produced by Flextronics, and will be followed by the business oriented C5.



Key main features of the M5:
  • GPRS, dual-band (GSM 900, 1800)
  • Microsoft´s CE.NET operating system platform
  • Dual processor. M5 includes a separate multimedia application processor that dramatically enhances the platform’s ability to support enhanced services
  • Full graphic LCD TFT display with 65K colours (16-bit)
  • Resolution: 176X220 pixels
  • Ring tones and hi-fi tones (16 polyphonic)
  • Enhanced messaging capabilities
  • Gaming engine dedicated for entertainment services
  • Integrated colour camera for stills and video
  • IrDA and USB technologies
  • Customised applications
