Train time table (for Central Europe) for Microsoft Smartphone to be released soon March 14, 2004 [MS Smartphone] | By anonymous 1. Hafas company is already offering such time table for Pocket PC and now a version for Microsoft Smartphone is coming: 
... and interestingly on top of all the functionality from the Pocket PC version, new feature will be added: possibility to check online information about delays of trains! Mobile phones are smaller and more powerfull than ever and certainly that is no secret to you. But did you already notice that mobile phones became "smarter"? Thatīs why there is now a "proper" HAFAS available for those "Smartphones", which run under "Windows Mobile for Smartphones". Therefore we named our new family member "HAFAS-Smartphone". The special advantage of HAFAS-Smartphone is that you can store a complete timetable to your Smartphone. There is no restriction to single pre-trip relations. Just take the complete timetable database with you on your mobile phone and request any timetable information you like while being on the move. The timetable lookup completely takes place on your mobile phone. You just have to install the HAFAS-Smartphone software only once on your mobile phone (via Desktop PC or direct by download from the Internet). And thatīs it! Further expensive on-line connections are not required. HAFAS-Smartphone is the enhancement of HAFAS-Pocket especially for Smartphones with the operating system "Windows Mobile for Smartphones" (Windows CE). Therefor the functional range and the system requirements correspond to those of HAFAS-Pocket. A test version is in preparation.
