CeBIT 2004 news: first impressions about second Microsoft Smartphone from Samsung : Samsung SGH-i250 March 19, 2004 [MS Smartphone] | By anonymous 1. Here is comparative picture of Samsung SGH-i250 (to the right) with Orange SPV e200:
The huge protruding antenna of the Samsung SGH-i250 looks strange. Here is a photo of Samsung SGH-250 when it is opened:
And here you can see specifications:
... where you can notice that 1 megapixel built-in camera and Bluetooth are good signs that this phone will be strong competition for Motorola MPx100. Please note: the Samsung SGH-i250 is being held by Samsung behind the glass box and nobody can touch it! We have been able to make above comparative picture only because guys from Samsung were cleaning the glass box and for a couple of seconds the Samsung SGH-i250 was exposed! It looks like this phone is not a real phone yet - just a plastic case - a mock up - just to show how it will look like. Again, Samsung is late with Microsoft Smartphone developments!!! Today, at CeBIT, we were for example abusing Motorola MPx100 very heavily (watch our site for more news and photos about MPx100 and many other interestung stuff from CeBIT) and also Sagem myS-7 - they both seem to be completely ready phones, but this Samsung SGH-i250 looks like it is yet several months ahead. In fact we have learned that Samsung SGH-i250 will come to market not before fourth quarter 2004...
