After release of free SmartIRC.NET the author
of SmartIRC - the first IRC client for Microsoft Smartphone - has accelerated development and brings these improvements:
A third version of smartirc has just been born: entirely in English, large number of corrected "bugs", an altered design, you can download it now here: https://www.smartphone.net/software_detail.asp?id=483

Conclusions: now we have 2 various IRC client programs for Microsoft smartphone. Thanks to avaiability of .NET technology for Microsoft smartphone all applications written with C++ must try much harder to catch up with functionality and price. More and more it becomes clear that soon only games, that require maximum performance will be writtein with C++, but the rest of MS Smartphone applications will be written with .NET technologies (C# or Visual Basic .NET) - simply because they are more effective.
