Photo review part 2 : Asus MyPal A730 - new Pocket PC super star March 25, 2004 [Pocket PC] | By anonymous 1. Asus MyPal A730 is the second in the world, after Toshiba e800, Pocket PC with VGA resolution - 640x480 pixels. In the first part of the photo review of Asus A730 we have presented you comparative photos - side by side - of A730 together with Toshiba´s e800. Now we show even more photos of A730 that we have taken during the CeBIT 2004 trade show. As you can see on this picture:
... this new Pocket PC is powered by "Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition" operating system. Here you can see how comfortable is the Internet browsing in the VGA resolution (it is almost like using a mini Tablet PC):
Here you can see that this Pocket PC has one Compact Flash card slot and one SD card slot:
Here you can see the home screen in big resolution and in horizontal mode (yes, Second Edition brings horizontal mode too):
The new Asus A730 is equipped not only with built-in Wi-Fi but also with built-in Bluetooth:
Last, not least, the Asus A730 has something that even Toshiba doesn´t have: the 1.3 Megapixel camera:
All in all: it looks like the following features are becoming standard in Pocket PC platform:
