Hardware Review: C928 - Pocket PC phone for CDMA 1X networks (like Verizon Wireless and Sprint in USA)
April 30, 2004 [Pocket PC phone] | By anonymous 1.
This review has 9 photos (including comparisons to XDA II) and very little text, but it is the first time the C928 phone is presented in real-life photos. This phone has been already launched in China and it is expected that it will be launched also in USA in CDMA 1X networks that offer much better speeds, coverage and reliability than GSM/GPRS combination.
The CU928 multimedia phone is a CDMA handset that will run on U-Web CDMA 1X base service. Operating on a CDMA 1X service, the CU928 promise to provide access to video streaming facilities such as real time TV and real time video traffic information using its built in Windows Media Player 9 player. A video-telephony capability courtesy of the company's Uni-video service will be released at a later date.
