Lies, Damned Lies and Motorola A630 May 07, 2004 [General] | By Edward J. R. Unfortunately again attention seeking web masters are perpetrating false information that the upcoming Motorola A630 cellphone:
... is powered by Microsoft Smartphone operating system. Suffice to say, that... ... the same source (that counterfeits its name after slash dot website) was previously publishing totally fake photos of Motorola MPx220 (that later on appeared to be totally wrong) and the same source was publishing also totally fake information about upcoming iPAQ H6000 series Pocket PC phones. It is a shame that certain individuals, who carry "Windows Mobile MVP" title (where "P" stands for "Professional") are contributing to this misinformation and are publishing links to this false information on their web sites! Again many people are letting themselves being fooled by a group of fraudsters, who publish intentionally false information, just to attract web traffic to their web site. We would like hereby again reveal the truth: yes, Motorola is very commited to Microsoft powered cellphones and it has at least 4 new models of such phones planned for this year, but Motorola A630 is not one of them.
