Warning: do not fall for counterfeit pre-order offers for unreleased Microsoft Smartphones! May 12, 2004 [General] | By Edward J. R. Unfortunately Jason Dunn who is a Microsoft MVP and an owner of web sites with "Thoughts" in the name, is advertising - in a form of news items - a possibility to pre-order Microsoft Smartphones, that have not even been released yet and... ... and some of these phones (like Motorola MPx220) have not even been announced by the manufacturers! So there is no release date, no price list and all with a company that has very dubious record with many many users, who were complaining. Why is Jason Dunn doing it? To collect money from affiliated links - even if the person is not buying the pre-ordered item, there is always chance that the same person will buy something else at this online shop. We, at msmobiles.com, represent interests of end users of Microsoft smartphones, neither interests of Microsoft, nor interests of any online shops, therefore we warn you not to fall for these pre-order offers! They don't have these phones nor they have any ability to deliver these phones earlier or cheaper than others. They just want you to be locked into their offer! Anyway the best way to buy Microsoft smartphone is to do it through local network operator (carrier) - otherwise if you buy a Microsoft Smartphone from some online shop you have no guarantee that you will be supported satisfactorily or that you will be able to update your MS Smartphone legally!
