TechEd 2004 Europe live report : the conference kind-of started with the modest motto: WE ROCK June 28, 2004 [General] | By Edward J. R. Today the TechEd 2004 Europe conference kind-of started. "Kind-of" because it is just a pre-conference day, not the full-blown start. There were no keynote speeches yet (they will take place tomorrow morning) and the regular sessions has not started yet. So what's up today at TechEd? Well, some pre-conference sessions are running from the morning till the afternoon: 
Unfortunately there are no mobility (Windows Mobile) related sessions today yet and the huge exhibition hall (that also will feature Windows Mobile exhibitors) is not ready yet:

Even the community lounge, that later on will be populated with MVP -awarded enthusiasts helping the participants, is also emtpy: 
So what to do, what to do if you are interested in Windows Mobile topics only and none such topics are today showing? Well, you can participate in the other pre-conference sessions and watch them carefully for any hints about mobility.... In meantime, if you are thirsty or hungry Microsoft makes available drinks and some food for everybody. Apart from regular Coca-cola and other typical drinks, one can fetch some "Windows Server System" branded mineral water:
