Rumor: Toshiba leaves PocketPC market July 06, 2004 [Pocket PC] | By Edward J. R. We have confirmation from various sources but still it is just a rumor!!! So don't panic yet!!! Toshiba Belgium is telling to customers who try to order Toshiba Pocket PC PDAs for enterprises, that by end of Q4 this year Toshiba wants to exit Pocket PC market. That's very sad because I own a e800 wifi and it really flies, espacially with 2003se ... and apart from that "Belgian trace" we have also some other traces from USA... but still these are just rumors yet! Plese note: formerly Sony has decided to withdraw from handheld market in USA and to concentrate on Japan only. Lately also it seems that Fujitsu will be branding a VGA Pocket PC made by Asus with a name "Fujitsu Loox" ... so clearly some changes in Pocket PC market are coming anyway...
