Verizon Wireless each week delays release of Windows Mobile 2003 for Samsung i600 smartphone
July 15, 2004 [MS Smartphone] | By Edward J. R.

It is just getting annoying: it looks like owners of Samsung i600 are stuck with outdated Smartphone2002 longer than it seemed previously, Verizon Wireless writes:

We are happy to assist you with your i600 question.

Unfortunately, we can not give out firm dates as they may change on a daily or weekly basis. It is also Verizon Wireless's policy not to release confidential information regarding our new products or services. The upgrade will be available via our website. If you are on a PDA/Smartphone plan or feature then the upgrade will be free of charge. If you are not on one of those plans or features then the cost of the upgrade is $15 dollars. We do not have a list of what the fixes are for the upgraded software. The upgrade does in fact fix the Caller ID issue.
