SMS Notify Beta 2 for Microsoft Smartphone 2003 released August 10, 2004 [MS Smartphone] | By Edward J. R. If you are texting a lot (i.e. exchanging SMS messages, particularly receiving SMS messages quite a bit), then this applicaton may be very useful to you - you can then recognize just out of the sound notification, who send you given SMS. This is new version of this application, that brings some significant improvements... this is an application for Windows Mobile Smartphones (2003 onwards) where you can assign custom wav files to contacts for SMS messages

Beta 2 Released 10/08/2004 Beta 2 has been released with the following improvements. - Stability - No more registry key errors on key read. - Ability to toggle on/off a users Tone event on the fly - SMSCounter, See how many times someone has sent you a text message - Code cleanup, nearing Final release. If you have beta 1, uninstall that version, download the new cab file and run. NOTE: All your settings will be preserved. What is SMSNotify? SMSNotify is a Windows Smartphone application which allows the assignment of custom tones (WAV) files to contacts within your Smartphone contact database. Once assigned, when a contact sends a SMS message to you, instead of the default beep sound, a custom tone which you have assigned will be played instead.
