Orange SPV C500 now on sale Orange France too - with FM tuner inside ! September 03, 2004 [MS Smartphone] | By Edward J. R. Although Orange operator as such is headquarted in UK, it is actually owned by France Telecom, so it can be considered as a French company! So now, after availability of Orange SPV C500 in UK, Switzerland and Netherlands, it is possible to buy it also in France - a home country of the Orange's owner - France Telecom. Interestingly in the product description Orange mentions that Orange SPV C500 is equipped with FM tuner! Obviously it is a mistake and somebody must have copied product description from some Nokia phone and change it... Orange SPV C500 phone is much smaller than E200 and features much faster processor and "Second Edition" operating system. While "Second Edition", contrary to Pocket PC platform, brings very little improvements - still no frames in PIE (Pocket Internet Explorer) and still no orientation switching (horizontal, vertical). But small size and fast processor are reasons enough to switch to this new unit - listening to MP3 music without skipping is crucial... To read more click here.
