Microsoft to Showcase New Imaging Solutions at Photokina 2004 - including Windows Mobile based solutions for imaging September 25, 2004 [General] | By Edward J. R. Previously Photokina trade show was devoted mainly to photo cameras, but in meantime also digital cameras and cell phones and PDAs with digital cameras are appearing on it. This year (2004) it runs from September 28 to October 3, and is located in German city of Cologne (which itself is located close to borders with France, Netherlands and Belgium). Interestingly Microsoft is participating in this trade show big time and they even have quite a big section about Windows Mobile devices: Windows Mobile software for Pocket PC and Smartphone devices enable new media and imaging functionality including Windows Media Player, which provides higher-quality audio and video, improved performance, and content-streaming capabilities. Windows Mobile-based Smartphones are available in small, stylish form factors designed for one-handed operation, with all the features consumers expect in a world-class mobile phone. To obtain more information about Microsoft's participation in this trade show click here and we invite all people living in West Germany, East France and in Belgium and Netherlands to drop by to Cologne to visit this trade show! One of things presented by Microsoft at this trade show will be T-Mobile SDA smartphone - it also has digital camera after all...
