One platform for deploying mobile applications
February 19, 2003 [General] | By anonymous 1.

The two companies will also work with Microsoft to co-market a package that includes the Smartphone SPV mobile phone, devices running on Pocket PC Phone Edition software, Microsoft servers and applications like MapPoint that are based on Microsoft’s .Net framework.

It´s super, but unfortunately we still don´t have .NET CF (Compact Framework) for MS Smartphone! This is the only missing part in the mosaic: .NET CF for MS Smartphone, so that .NET applications could be executed also in MS Smarpthones, and not only in servers. Please note: .NET CF for Pocket PC phones is already available for free download.
