Second wave of Microsoft Smartphone cell phones comes to USA October 02, 2004 [MS Smartphone] | By Edward J. R. First wave included Motorola MPx200 at AT&T Wireless and Samsung i600 at Verizon Wireless and Sprint. Second wave brings new devices: with built-in Bluetooth, built-in camera, faster processors (chipsets) and most importantly: longer battery life! Previously these were just rumors but now it is official: AT&T Wireless will be selling Motorola MPx220 very soon - 2nd Motorola's Microsoft with all the goodies mentioned above including megapixel camera Audiovox SMT5600 will be also sold by AT&T Wireless - it is the very same hardware that Orange SPV C500 and i-mate SP3 but it also has both American GSM bands: GSM850 and GSM1900! Conclusion: it looks that at last USA will be able to catch up with the rest of the world - by now latest Microsoft Smartphones were coming with big delay to USA.
