Intellisync’s “Push” Email And Sync Technology Enables AT&T Wireless To Support Microsoft Exchange And Lotus Domino Via New Windows Mobile Smartphone

Intellisync Corporation, a developer and marketer of wireless software solutions for the worldwide mobile communications industry, has been selected to deliver Microsoft Exchange and Lotus Domino wireless email to the new Audiovox SMT5600 Windows Mobile Smartphone, introduced by AT&T Wireless today. Intellisync will team with AT&T Wireless, the United States’ second-largest mobile carrier, to jointly market and sell the combined solution to enterprise customers.

AT&T Wireless’ is working with Intellisync for several reasons, including Intellisync’s experience in delivering large deployments of wireless email over a wide array of devices and application platforms. Intellisync’s compatibility with multiple platforms is expected to enable AT&T Wireless’ customers to obtain wireless email and data synchronization for additional devices and applications in the future.

Developed as a single, manageable platform for both wireless operators and enterprises, Intellisync Mobile Suite provides network-based push email, synchronization of data and files, and integrated device management – all “over-the-air.” The product provides a single solution with deployment models that allow mobile carriers to address virtually all customer segments: mobile professionals, small- to medium-sized businesses and enterprises.

Mobile Suite is currently utilized by organizations such as Guidant, Domino’s Pizza, Hertz and A.T. Kearney.
