Orange SPV M2000 - another member of Pocket PC phone family - is now available from Orange UK November 02, 2004 [Pocket PC phone] | By Edward J. R. Nowadays each self-respecting cellular network operators is offering "HTC Blue Angel" (latest Pocket PC phone with built-in Wi-Fi and built-in full-QWERTY slide-out keyboard) under its own brand name! Wow! This is huge success for Microsoft! In some countries all cellular network operators are offering this model of the Pocket PC phone ! Example: Germany, where Vodafone, T-Mobile, E-plus and O2 - all offer this phone on sale. Slowly this model is also becoming available at all operators (i.e. carriers) in USA... One of such operators is Orange, that is selling "HTC Blue Angel" as "SPV M2000":

Our conclusions: very good phone with built-in Wi-Fi (so FREE Internet telephony - voice over IP - over Skype is possible) but unfortunately it has processor of penultimate generation - PXA263, not PXA270, that is the latest generation. It doesn't have megapixel camera too - just VGA camera. However there is no big point in waiting if you need contemporary Pocket PC phone with built-in Wi-Fi! Motorola MPx and HP iPAQ phones both have much slower processors, so "HTC Blue Angel" - in any incarnation - is indeed a solid offering.
