New Microsoft Smartphone : B221 ? No, it is rather a Pocket PC Phone Edition cell phone

We have still some confusion as to what is "smartphone" and what is "PDA phone" and apparently these 2 are merging into one. We also know that HTC from Taiwan - the biggest producer of Microsoft powered cell phones - is working on Microsoft Smartphone cellphones that support 320x240 pixels but as far as this phone is concerned:
... we have some doubts although it is specified as "Operation System: Microsoft Smartphone 2003". Why doubts?
Because handwriting recognition is mentioned in specification and this one is supported only by Pocket PC platform, not by Microsoft Smartphone platform.
Some features:
- GSM 900/1800/1900, GPRS Class 10
- 65K colors, TFT LCD, 320 x 240 pixels
- Full Pocket PC(PDA) features
- MS Office applications
- Data synchronizing with PC
- MP3 and movie playback
- Hand writing input and recognition
