Voq fiasco November 13, 2004 [MS Smartphone] | By Edward J. R. While magazines devoted only to one specific platform tend to be positive about all devices based on it, some other magazines cover all platforms and these magazines tend to be objective about devices, that they are reviewing. "mobile PC" magazine from USA in November 2004 issue has reviewed Voq - a Microsoft Smartphone from Sierra Wireless:
In this review Voq scores 2.5 stars out of 5 and here are some quotes from it: BEST FEATURE Has a Keyboard WORST FEATURE Has a barely usable keyboard (...) Like a cellular Crying Game, the Voq has a special surprise hiding under its flip-out skirt: an astonishingly large QWERTY thumb pad. Unfortunately, the phone's brutish features and enormous size are a dead giveaway. The hinge in the middle isn't helping, either. (...) If the boss demands a flashy new toy, the Voq may be enough to placate him. Consumers, however, should steer clear. To learn more about this magazine click here.
