Microsoft launched MSN Spaces - blog publishing service - with mobile phone support December 02, 2004 [General] | By Edward J. R. It is nice to hear that right from the beginning Microsoft supports cell phones: Create and manage your space from a mobile phone. Everybody can sign up and it is FREE ! After signing up you are getting blog with URL of type: http://spaces.msn.com/members/your_user_name/ . Moreover Microsoft writes: With MSN Spaces, you can easily create and manage your blog from your computer or your mobile phone. It's a great way to share information and photos with your friends and family. And best of all, it's free! So essentially Microsoft uses a strange name "MSN Spaces" to name a blog publishing tool and web space for blogging. Interestingly Microsoft is not even using the name "blog" at all! Conclusions: Microsoft is getting serious about blogging and it is good news that right away support for cell phones is built-in!
